If you are managing multiple accounts in your Google Ads manager account, you will probably be familiar with the problem of finding the right one, when you need it. This new Google Ads tool is helping you to solve this. With visualization the account map helps you navigate in your manager account on several levels and shows useful performance metrics for you.
You may be asking yourself: Why should I care, I can navigate amongst them even now. The answer is easy. The more simple something is, the faster it can be done, so you don’t have to waste time searching for the right account. It shows a map of all the accounts and sub-accounts under your manager account and makes it transparent to see connections amongst them and navigate to accounts.
How to use it:
The overall performance of your accounts are shown in the upper left-hand corner of your screen. Here you can see the number of all your managed accounts, clicks, impressions, cost and conversions. Under the overview you find labels, conversion tracking parent, remarketing pool and external manager. The sub-account level metrics are broken out in the account maps and shows the sub-managed accounts and clicks for each single account.
Even if you’re not using sub accounts in your manager account, the external managers list can be a handy way to see who has access to each of your accounts.
Where to find it? If you want to try the new account map you can find it under the Tools icon in the Google Ads interface.
With the new Google Ads account map the navigation in your manager account and finding the needed information will be even easier than now. With the account map you will be able to see through all of your accounts at a glance and the colour coding makes even simpler to find the data you are searching for.
